Remote Desktop and wet weather on tablets

I use Windows 11 laptop, Mesa 3 tablet on deck and run Windows Remote Desktop to link the two. I have just done 2 heavy weather races (very wet on deck, or at least got a lot of water on the tablet screen) and found using the Mesa on deck very challenging even with the touch screen switched to 'Wet' and using a capacitive stylus. Also when I need it most, the remote software seems to 'freeze' and will only come good again after a tablet reset (20sec) or full system reset (90sec) which can be very inconvenient 😜. Two questions: 1. 'Best' remote desktop software? 2. 'Best' way to run the tablet in wet weather (is it to use 'cursor mode') ? Would welcome your experiences please.

It is a very challenging environment. I set one of the programmable buttons to toggle off/on the touch screen. A also carry a small square of chamois in my pocket to clean the screen (while locked). My favourite (cannot really explain why) is Radmin. I prefer this to RDP as it does not disable the remote PC screen. It comes bundled with one of my favourite apps - AdvancedIPscanner.
