Why are Questions being closed for Answers/Comments?

The mission for this site is to answer questions, not to have public debate or long dialogue as some forums and discussion boards have.

This will assist in searching for an answer.

If you have a better answer, or something to add, to a question that has been marked as answered and closed, we will happily re-open.
