Hi Cambell, the boat has the following set-up: GoFree Wifi - H5000CPU - Zeus3 - Thoughbook FZ-G1 - Expedition
The struggle is not getting the the AiS Data on Expedition form the Zeus via the GoFree. WP communication is also not working in this configuartion. The H5000 data is visible on expedition and via websocket polar data can also be transferred to the H5000. Is there something missing on the hardware/cabeling and how could this problem be solved? Thanx in advance!

The choices for router/switches are endless, from marine specific units to standard IT products. A popular choice is the teltonica rut-950. It has the additional benefit of being an LTE/4g modem with a sim slot. The not extremely user friendly to set up, but your local electronics dealer/installer should be able to to assist. Is not marinised so would recommend being careful where is mounted, or put in a waterproof housing. Yes, you still need n2k along with the ethernet connection.
