AWS_raw or Measured AWS
Hi! How could we check if AWS_raw ( without any correction) is ok? We have a table to check angles by voltage measurements but nothing about wind speed.

Hi! How could we check if AWS_raw ( without any correction) is ok? We have a table to check angles by voltage measurements but nothing about wind speed.
The signal from the wind speed sensor is a pulse output similar to that of a conventional boat speed paddle wheel.
You can test cabling etc by pulsing the windspeed signal to ground to see if a windspeed is registering on the instruments.
Unfortunately the only way of verifying if your windspeed sensor is measuring correctly is to wind tunnel test it.
